What Are Your Goals?
Most of us say we have goals, but more often than not, they are somewhere in the back of our mind and we don’t have a solid plan for reaching them. In working with my clients, I’ve observed four main reasons why goals aren’t achieved.
- They aren’t written down
- They aren’t well defined (i.e. they are too vague)
- No plan or system for achievement
- Lack of accountability
My programs address these four areas and are geared toward helping business owners and professionals reach their goals.
Set Goals That Have Meaning
In order to set effective goals, it’s important to get clear about what holds meaning for you in your life. Is it growing your business? Spending more quality time with your family? The more clarity you have, the easier it is to picture your future and set goals that are in alignment with your vision. There’s a saying that goes
“If you don’t know your destination, you’ll end up somewhere else.”
Similarly, if you don’t know where you want to go in your life or business, odds are you won’t end up where you want to be.
Goals not only help you get focused on what you want, they are also a powerful source of motivation, inspiration and self-confidence.
Whether you are new to goal-setting or have experienced frustration in the past because of goals set that you’ve missed or forgotten, my goal-setting programs can provide you with the right solution.
